"The Platte" has been a serving the Denver area for over twenty years. Located along the Platte River, we have been a favorite stop for bikers and cyclists looking to refuel. We offer plenty of outside seating, making us a perfect place for those who enjoy the sunshine as much as good company. You can find drink and food specials everyday. We are known for our friendly atmosphere and great food at a reasonable price. Our specialties are the "Biker Burgers" and homemade Mexican food. We make our own chips & salsa, and our green chili and tamales are made fresh. We also offer great starters and salads for those looking for something lighter and our gourmet soups are delicious. We have something for everyone.With two full bars (one outside) and over 15 beers on tap, there's plenty of space to kick back and enjoy your favorite beer or cocktail. We have specials on buckets of beer, mix and match from over 30 different selections. Each week we offer drink specials and a Bloody Mary Bar on the weekends. Whatever you choose, you're sure to have a good time here.
Live Music and Events
Every week you can find live music, contests, events and promotions. Our outside deck is perfect for great bands and performers. Some of the best local talent come to play every week. We also have an "Open Mic" night if you have what it takes and local DJ's each Friday to get the crowds grooving.On Mondays's we have a Hold'em Poker tournament, two sessions, 7pm & 10pm. Entry is free and the winners compete for gift certificates and the chance to earn a spot at the World Series of Poker. Save your drink and food reciepts for extra chips and a better chance at beating our regular "Sharks".
